MacSween to Make Campaign Announcement in Glace Bay

Rankin MacSween will lay out his plan to address property taxation in the Regional Municipality at an event in Glace Bay in an hour from now.

MacSween launched his second bid for Regional Mayor in North Sydney, a week ago.

So far, he’s the only candidate to formally enter the race to take on incumbent Mayor Cecil Clarke in the October 15th municipal election.

This morning’s event gets underway at 11:00 at the Glace Bay Fire Hall.

MacSween’s campaign says he’ll outline a plan to address what it describes as the hardship facing taxpayers including new home buyers and small business owners.
