Travel Writers’ Trip To Cape Breton

The largest ever gathering of travel writers in the province is taking place in Cape Breton, this week.

The Travel Media Association of Canada is hosting its annual conference on the Island, starting on Wednesday, and about 200 of its members are expected.

However, 60 of them have arrived early and are taking part in a series of pre-conference road trips arranged by Destination Cape Breton.

Nine themed tours of the island are being offered, including golf, Parks Canada sites, culinary and photography.
