Bail Hearing For Man Arrested At Marine Atlantic

A 21-year-old Ontario man facing drug charges after his arrest at North Sydney’s Marine Atlantic ferry terminal is due back in court today for a bail hearing.

David John Honcoop from Brantford is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine.

Regional Police say he was arrested after they got a tip from Marine Atlantic workers at around 10:00 on Saturday night.

They add a man was reported to have packages that looked suspicious.

Police say they seized two kilograms of cocaine.
