Last night’s Fort McMurray benefit concert at Sydney’s Centre 200 raised more than 250-thousand dollars.

Just over 53-hundred tickets were sold for the Givin’ Back to the Mac event, producing one of the largest crowds ever for a concert at the venue.

Bruce Guthro kicked off the concert, and was joined on stage by The Men of the Deeps.

Others performers included Matt Minglewood, the Barra MacNeils, Aaron Lewis as well as Jordan Musycsyn and the MacArthur Dancers.

Comedians Bette MacDonald and Maynard Morrison hosted the event.
