Eyking Asks About Infrastructure Money For Port of Sydney

Infrastructure money for the Port of Sydney came up in the House of Commons, yesterday.

Sydney-Victoria Liberal MP, Mark Eyking, asked Infrastructure Minister Amarjeet Sohi if plans for a second berth for the port of Sydney would be worthy of consideration for infrastructure funding.

Eyking says the project would increase traffic at the port and would benefit Cape Breton’s economy overall.

However, Sohi’s answer was non-committal.

Sohi did note that the Liberal government has committed $60 billion of new money into infrastructure over the next ten years.
