A third Syrian refugee family is scheduled to arrive in Inverness County, today.
The family of six will join a family of five that arrived in Port Hood two weeks ago as well as another family in Cheticamp.
Lifeline Syria Inverness County spokesperson Joe Morris says the new arrivals are related to the family that’s already settled in the Port Hood area.
He adds he expects their newest family to be in their home in south west Margaree by this evening.
Lifeline Syria Cape Breton spokesperson Amanda McDougall says a total of 15 groups are working to bring refugee families to the Island.
