Crown and defence lawyers are due to make closing arguments today in the case of a 16- year- old boy charged with criminal negligence causing the death of a classmate at Sydney Academy.
The teen was charged in February after 18- year-old Chris Chafe died when he into the path of a school bus.
Chafe was pronounced dead at the scene from severe head trauma.
The prosecution called 20 witnesses during the trial while the defence called only one witness as part of an application to have a witness statement made to police introduced into evidence.
The trial heard that the accused and four boys were pushing each around in a joking manner before Chafe was pushed into the path of the bus.
