by Regional Police say a Sydney Mines fire that destroyed a garage and extensively damaged another one has been deemed suspicious.
They add the blaze on Ocean Street broke out at around 1:00, yesterday morning.
Fire officials say the fire started in one backyard garage and then spread to a neighbouring garage on the property next door.
There were no injuries in the fire and Police and the Fire Marshall’s Office are investigating.
