Cape Breton Regional Council voted to set December 6th as the date for the bye-election in District 10, last night. However, Council backed away from an electronic-only vote, over concerns some might have trouble with the technology. Instead, a combination electronic/paper ballot vote will be held. Electronic advance polls will be held from November 25 to December 2nd. People can vote by paper ballot on election day. The bye-election is necessary after Darren Bruckschwaiger resigned his seat earlier this month, after taking a job out West.
