by The funeral for Cape Breton fiddling legend Buddy MacMaster will take place this morning.
MacMaster died on Wednesday night at the age of 89.
Crowds lined up to pay their final respects at his wake over the weekend.
MacMaster’s Funeral mass is due to get underway at 11:00 at St. Andrew’s Church in Judique.
The overflow crowd will be accommodated at the Judique Community Centre across the road.
MacMaster is survived by his wife and two children, and a large extended family.
