Stabbing in Whitney Pier

Cape Breton Regional Police says a man was stabbed in Whitney Pier, last night.

They add officers got the call at around 7:00.

The man was taken to hospital where he was treated and released.

Police say charges are pending against another man.

They say the victim and the suspect know one another.
