Police in Ontario have arrested two men accused of breaking into churches in Antigonish County and Cape Breton.
Three churches were targeted last weekend in Havre Boucher, Port Hastings and South Haven outside of Baddeck.
Cash was taken from the churches in Havre Boucher and South Haven.
RCMP say they identified two suspects and put an alert in the national police database.
On Thursday, York Regional Police stopped a vehicle they suspected was being driven by someone on drugs.
An officer entered the names of the two people in the vehicle into the database and found out they were wanted in this province.
A 42-year-old Gander, N.L., man is charged with impaired driving, possession of drugs, obstruction, possession of stolen property and three counts of breach of probation.
A 19-year-old man is charged with possession of drugs, possession of stolen property, breach of probation and breach of court orders.
