75 New Cases Of COVID-19, Today

The province is reporting 75 new cases of COVID-19 today.

67 cases are in the Central Zone, 6 are in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton, 1 is in the Northern Zone and another is in the Western Zone.

There’s community spread in the Central Zone and the province says areas outside the Central Zone are being monitored for community spread.

There’s now a total of 489 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including 38 in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and two in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

11 people in the province are in hospital with the virus, including three in intensive care.
