70 New COVID Cases Reported Over Two Days

The province is reporting 70 new cases of COVID-19 since the last report on Wednesday and it’s renewing its COVID-19 State of Emergency.

Five of the new cases are in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

There are also 44 new cases in the Central Zone, with 12 in the Northern Zone and nine in the Western Zone.

With 69 new recoveries, there’s now a total of 277 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including ten in the Regional Municipality.

Ten people in the province are now in hospital with the virus, including one person in intensive care.

The State of Emergency is being extended to November 28th
