The province is reporting 66 new cases of COVID-19 today with 58 of the new cases in the Central Health Zone.
Five are in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton, two are in the Western Zone and one is in the Northern Zone.
Today’s case count breaks the daily record of 63 set just yesterday.
There’s now a total of 323 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including 31 in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and one in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.
Five people in the province are in hospital with the virus, including two in intensive care.
