30 New COVID Cases Reported

The province is reporting 30 new cases of COVID-19 today.

16 of the new cases are in the Northern Zone, with 12 in the Central Zone and two in the Western Zone.

Health officials say there’s community spread in the Northern and Western zones because of ongoing transmission from a religious event that happened late last month.

The province is also reporting 33 more recoveries today, bringing its total number of confirmed active cases to 277, including 12 in the Regional Municipality.

Ten people in the province are now in hospital with the virus, including one person in intensive care.
