3 More COVID-19 Deaths, 9 New Cases In NS

The province says there have been three more COVID-19 deaths at the Northwood Home in Halifax.

A total of 44 people in Nova Scotia have now died because of the virus.

Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Robert Strang says health officials are doing everything they can to bring the outbreak at Northwood under control.

Meanwhile, nine new cases of COVID-19 were found in the province yesterday.

There are still no new cases to report in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

The total number of reported cases in the zone has been at 50 for the past 12 days.
