29 Year-Old Charged in Glace Bay Stabbing

A 29-year-old man has been charged with assault after a stabbing in downtown Glace Bay on Friday afternoon

Regional Police were called to Commercial Street at around 4:30 and arrived to find a 50-year-old man suffering from a stab wound.

Police say the wound appeared to be non-life threatening and the victim and his attacker know each other.

Michael Hart has been charged with assault with a weapon, a knife, and two breaches of probation.

He’s been remanded to the Cape Breton Correctional Centre and is due in Sydney Provincial Court, tomorrow.
