165 New COVID-19 Cases Reported

The province is reporting 165 new cases of COVID-19 today.

138 of the new cases are in the Central Zone, 16 are in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton, six are in the Western Zone and five are in the Northern Zone.

There are now over 1,600 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia, including 98 in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and 20 in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

50 people in the province are now in hospital with the virus, including 7 in intensive care.
