15 School Days Lost To Cancellations

With more winter weather on the way, students in the Cape Breton-Victoria Regional School Board have already lost 15 days because of school cancellations, this year.

However, Board superintendent Beth MacIsaac says extra days will not have to be added to the schedule to make up for lost time.

MacIsaac adds the board plans to lose five school days due to storms each year and goes on to say it’s not unusual to go well over that amount.

She also says teachers are able to adapt to make up for lost class time.
