12 New Cases Of COVID-19 Reported Today

The province is reporting 12 new cases of COVID-19 today and 33 recoveries.

Eight of the new cases are in the Central Zone and four are in the Western Zone.

The Health Authority is also reporting what’s being described as a small outbreak at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville.

It says three patients in a non-COVID unit have tested positive for COVID-19 and other patients and staff identified as close contacts are being tested.

There are now 187 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.

Of those, 14 people are in hospital, including four in intensive care.
