114 Cruise Ship Visits Expected, This Year

The Port of Sydney says it’s scheduled to welcome more cruise ship passengers than ever, this season.

An estimated 175,000 passengers and 75,000 crew members are due to visit Sydney in a total of 114 visits.

102 ships are due at the Port of Sydney while 12 are scheduled for Louisbourg.

The Port says the largest cruise ship to ever visit Sydney is expected to dock twice this season.

The MSC Meraviglia is 316 metres long and carries about 4,500 passengers.

Holland America’s Zaandam will start the season at the Port of Sydney on April 30.
