11 New COVID Cases, Two In Eastern Zone

The province is reporting 11 new cases of COVID-19 today.

Two of those cases are in the Eastern Zone that includes Cape Breton.

Health officials say both cases are related to travel.  

The other nine cases reported today are all in the Central Zone.

With 15 recoveries being reported today, there’s now a total of 93 confirmed active cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.

Those include 20 in the Cape Breton County Community Health Network and one in the Inverness, Victoria and Richmond Community Health Network.

There are now six people in the province in hospital with the virus, including three in intensive care.
