Sobey’s Brand Packaged Veggies Being Recalled

Sobey’s is recalling 19 varieties of its packaged vegetable products because of possible Listeria contamination.

All the products have best before dates of October 7th and were sold across the Maritimes.

The products range from packages of stir fry mixes and mixed veggie sticks to Broccoli & Cauliflower Florettes.

People who have the recalled products should throw them out or bring them back to the store where they bought them.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the recall was triggered by its inspection activities and warns more products could be recalled.

It says there are no reports of anyone getting sick from eating the products.
