Regional Police Say Marion Bridge Raid Leads To $200,000 Drug Seizure

Regional Police say they seized more than 200-thousand dollars worth of drugs after a raid at a home on Hillside Road in Marion Bridge, last night.

Police say the found a kilogram and a half of cocaine and more than eleven pounds of marijuana.

They also seized more than $30,000 in cash, as well as drug-related paraphernalia, a gun and ammunition.

A 42 year-old man and a 32 year-old woman were arrested.

They both face counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in cocaine and marijuana along with Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Unsafe Storage of a Firearm and Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm.
