Plea Hearing Adjourned For Assault Accused

A plea hearing was adjourned today for a Coxheath man facing a total of 24 charges after two women were assaulted at a Sydney pizza shop.

Police say they arrested 39 year-old Aaron Curtis Mickey after getting called to Alexandria’s Pizza on Charlotte Street last month.

Mickey is accused of driving to the pizza shop in a stolen vehicle, assaulting two women inside and then threatening to steal another vehicle.

Police say Mickey was arrested as he tried to run from the restaurant.

The two women were treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Mickey is being held in custody as he awaits another plea hearing on Thursday.
