Men Charged After Man Found Dead In Eskasoni Due In Court

Two men facing murder charges after a 33-year-old man was found dead in Eskasoni last month are due back in court today for a plea hearing.

37-year-old Roger Wilfred Prosper and 29-year-old Kirk Daniel Gould each face a count of second-degree murder in the death of Harry James Lafford Junior.

Police say they were called to a home on Mini Mall Drive shortly before midnight on March 21st.

They say officers found a man seriously injured and unconscious.

The man was later pronounced dead after CPR attempts were unsuccessful.

Prosper and Gould are being held in custody.
