Man Found Dead In Eskasoni Identified

The 33 year-old man found dead in Eskasoni on Thursday night has been identified through is obituary.

Two men each face a charge of second degree murder in the death of Harry James Lafford Junior.

37-year-old Roger Wilfred Prosper and 29-year-old Kirk Daniel Gould are being held in custody to await a plea hearing on April 23rd.

Police say they were called to a home on Mini Mall Drive shortly before midnight on Thursday, where officers found a man seriously injured and unconscious.

The man was later pronounced dead after CPR attempts were unsuccessful.

Lafford’s funeral mass will take place on Saturday.
