Man Charged After Pizza Shop Assault

A Coxheath man is facing a total of 24 charges after Regional Police say two people were assaulted at a Sydney pizza shop on Friday night

Police say they arrested 39 year-old Aaron Curtis Mickey after getting called to Alexandria’s Pizza on Charlotte Street.

He’s being accused of driving to the store in a stolen vehicle, assaulting two women inside the store and then threatening to steal another vehicle.

Police say Mickey was arrested as he tried to run from the restaurant.

The two women were treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Mickey appeared in court for arraignment today, and is now on remand while he awaits a plea hearing on April 1st.
