Kelloway Appointed To Health Committee

Cape Breton-Canso MP Mike Kelloway has been appointed to Parliament’s Standing Committee On Health.

Kelloway says he and other health committee members will be working with the provinces to improve mental health and palliative care services, as well as access to family doctors and other health professionals.

Kelloway also says he looks forward to playing a part in the development of a national pharmacare program.

The committee is holding its first meeting today to deal with the coronavirus outbreak.
