Harvest Creek Chicken Nuggets Recalled

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has issued a recall for a brand of chicken nuggets sold in the province because of possible Salmonella contamination.

Harvest Creek brand Chicken Nuggets sold in 2 by 1 kilogram packages are affected.

They have a best before date of October 11, 2018.

The CFIA says anyone who has the chicken nuggets should thrown them out or bring them back to the store where they were bought.

The federal agency says the recall was triggered by an investigation into a food borne illness outbreak.

It says other products could also be recalled.
