Florence Library Being Renamed In Honour of Wes Stubbert

There’s going to be a ceremony today to mark the renaming of the library in Florence after Wes Stubbert.

Stubbert has served as a municipal councillor for the area, as well as a school board member and community volunteer.

The sign for the J. Wesley Stubbert Library will be unveiled at the event.

It gets underway at 12:30 this afternoon at the Legion on Bras d’Or Florence Road.
