First Cruise Ship of Season in Louisbourg Can’t Dock Because of High Winds

There’s disappointment in Louisbourg, today.

The first of ten cruise ships of the season has not been able to dock because of high winds.

However, the special committee put together to prepare for the arrival of MS Fram and the other ships says there’s still lots of activities for others who would like to visit Louisbourg.

The Ocean of Opportunity Marine Science and Heritage Centre is holding its grand opening.

There’s also a farmers market, along with food trucks and special lunch offerings in the downtown area.
