CBU to work with municipality to get Sunday bus service
Cape Breton University is contributing 180,000 dollars to Transit Cape Breton, to get Sunday service up and running.
CBU and the municipality signed a Memorandum of Understanding Friday, to work together to make bus service better for all users.
CBU president and Vice-Chancellor David Dingwall says to have the extended bus service on Sunday is valuable to students wanting to get to the university to use the library and meet with friends.
Mayor Cecil Clarke says the extra routes and Sunday service added on is not only going to make a big difference for the students but the community in general.
