Body Found Off Port Hood Identified

The body found off Inverness County last week has been identified as a missing man from Antigonish County.

Fishermen found the body about 10 nautical miles from Port Hood last Wednesday.

It was sent to Dartmouth for an autopsy and has been identified as Patrick John MacDonald from Ballantyne’s Cove.

The 54 year-old went missing in January.

His truck was found near the Ballantyne’s Cove wharf shortly after he disappeared.
