Sentencing In Killing Of Former Glace Bay Man
The sentencing hearing for a man convicted in the killing of a former Glace Bay man is due to take place in Calgary today.
In October, 32 year-old Nicholas Rasberry was found guilty of manslaughter in the death of 31 year-old Craig Kelloway.
Rasberry was originally charged with second-degree murder in the case and Kelloway’s parents have vowed to fight for an appeal of his conviction on the lesser charge.
Kelloway was stabbed 37 times in the 2013 attack.
He had just moved to Calgary six months before to take a teaching job.
A day has been set aside for the sentencing hearing that will also include victim impact statements.
