21 Year-Old Charged In Fatal North Sydney Stabbing
Regional Police have charged a 21-year-old Northside man with second degree murder following a fatal stabbing in North Sydney late Tuesday night.
Cody Alexander Russell is due in Sydney court today to answer to the charge in the death of 25-year-old Stephen Tyler Chisholm.
Police say both men knew each other and both suffered stab wounds during an altercation.
Police got called to Clifford Street to reports of a stabbing at around midnight on Wednesday.
They say officers found a 25 year-old man suffering from life-threatening stab wounds and he was taken to Cape Breton Regional Hospital where he died.
Fifteen minutes after the first call, Police say they were called about another man with stab wounds who was at a home on King Street.
They add he was also taken to the Regional Hospital with injuries that were later determined to be non-life-threatening.
